Ricky Martin throws his back out

rickymartin2.jpgAll that shaking, gyrating and kicking seems to have had a negative effect on our beloved Ricky Martin, who threw his back out during a performance and has had to cancel tour dates:

He was told that he needs bedrest and has suspended his tour because of the medical recommendation, until he recovers.

At a show in Laredo Friday night, Ricky hurt his back while dancing.

The performace of the Puerto Rican star was planned for last Saturday in El Paso, but has been postponed until further notice.

Is Ricky getting too old for all that prancing about? I wish somebody had a video of this, a la Juan Gabriel’s Humpty dance.

why is this such a joke? a lot of his proceeds are going to help children in the developing world. maybe you should focus on bigger issues than gaining entertainment out of others’ misfortune.

I agree with Jane. Ricky Martin is a very nice guy. He deserves more respect! I put out my back and neck when I was 21 .. That don’t mean I’m too old. So, I highly doubt he’s too old for anything. Just he’s been working so hard lately. Let’s pray he gets well soon. We love you Ricky.

Good luck hun.
Shanty..Shanty..Shanty.. OM! Peace & love to you.
