High Line Festival Highlights Spanish Language Films

sec_film.jpgComing on the heels of the Tribeca Film Festival‘s substantial Latino/Hispanic presence comes David Bowie’s High Line Festival. One of the highlights of this West Side of Manhattan multi-media event is the showing of 10 Latin American & Spanish Films from the Last 100 Years. David Bowie himself picked each and every film to be shown today through May 17. The films come from area as diverse as Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela and Spain and range from classic films from 1919 to more modern offerings.
