Maradona suffering from Hepatitis

1_216522_1_2.jpgIt’s turning out to be a really hard year for soccer legend Diego Maradona. First we heard last month that he was being investigated by Argentine tax authorities. Then, a few days ago, Maradona was hospitalized for “excessive ingestion of food and alcohol”. Now it seems that things are only getting worse for la mano de Dios, as he’s been diagnosed with severe Hepatitis:

Diego Maradona will remain hospitalized for at least 15 more days, according to his personal doctor, Alfredo Cahe, who says that on Sunday the ex-soccer player showed the beginnings of a “clinical improvement and improvement in analyses”.

“Late yesterday I became more calm,” Cahe told Radio Mitre of Buenos Aires, who said that Maradona’s entry into the hospital this time is “different from previous times.”

Cahe also says that Diego is still planning to take that trip to Switzerland Mala told us about recently, in an attempt to come off the toxic subtances he’s been ingesting lately and get back in health. Maybe he should start hanging out more with his friend Hugo?
