JLo used to be all about the bling, but now she’s all about the Thing. Her Thing, that is: hubby Marc Anthony. People en Español reports that Jen gushed to the Italian version of Vanity Fair about her amor this way:
“How do I love? With all of myself, passionately, without regard for the mistakes which one inevitably makes,” she says. “Let me put it as I have in my song: ‘Amo como una mujer, que vee en su hombre el paraìso (I love like a woman who sees heaven in her man).’ ”
I can’t for the life of me imagine getting past human superficialness to equate Marc with the pearly gates. He must really have something going for him, as both JLo and Dayanara have been whipped.
JLo also says that she isn’t into the shopping like she used to be, and is into more important things, like a harmonious career and personal life:
“We aren’t the type to separate our lives from our work,” Lopez, 37, tells Italian Vanity Fair. “It’s a synergy: music, cinema, the everyday things and most importantly, our love.”
More proof that JLo is becoming — yawn — a grownup.

I heart Calle 13, especially Residente born as René Pérez Joglar. Besides having lyrical skills and words that just crack me the hell up, their tone and accents are enough to make this Rican proud that they are Rican too. Their latest video, El Tango del Pecado, it true to Calle 13 form and is a family affair. In the video Residente is marrying none other then his real life girlfriend 2001 Miss Universe Denise Quiñones. René’s mami, actress Flor Joglar, appears and sings in the video. And for those who say that Rican hip hop and reggaeton have no love for each other, you can spot Tego Calderon and Julio Voltio in the video too. Ay I can’t wait for Calle 13′s new cd, Residente or Visitante to drop very soon. If you haven’t seen the video you can see it right here after the jump.

The third man in line at the U.S. State Department, Nicholas Burns, criticized Argentina yesterday for allowing Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to carry on with an anti-Bush rally in Buenos Aires while Dubya was on tour in neighboring Uruguay:
“I don’t think it was correct,” said Burns during a press conference in Washington about Bush’s recent trip to Latin America, according to AFP.“I regret that this protest took place there (in Buenos Aires) the same day that our president was in Montevideo.”

According to one Cuban exile, when the body buried in Cuba isn’t that of the Argentinian who was one of the key players in the Cuban Revolution that put Fidel Castro in power.
Gustavo Villoldo – a Miami Cuban exile hired 40 years ago through the CIA to hunt down Che – has come forward for the first time with his evidence to claim that Che’s remains may still be in Bolivian soil and not in a Cuban mausoleum, his official grave site – as Fidel Castro claims.
This is a huge claim. Ernesto “Che” Guevara has become more than a historical figure. To some he is the icon of revolution and social change, to others he is a symbol of oppression , and perhaps worst of all El Che has become a commercial figure, trendy enough to grace all sorts of products from t-shirts to dolls.
