The viseo does suck...there is no chemistry whatsoever between the two. It gets old real quick to see them compete over who's the sexiest. Two overexposed singers doing a duet...how refreshing.

I think that there's something cool about big stars that remain humble (even if just for the press). Praising someone else's talent doesn't mean kissing ass... she never said "I admire her"... Shakira's also a focused woman, and there went her message. :-) Didn't care much for the video. My whole take on it is that Shakira's doing her dancin' thang, Beyonce is doing it along, neither one's making a great singing effort... they look too much alike in the video... interesting, but one of the duets that leaves me wondering "why?".

For all u dumb people out there, i am Dominican and everyone knows that spanish people have black in them, it's so obvious, anyway B and Shak are trying to prove a point, that black and spanish is the same, were so alike even music wise, do any of you research or go on Wikepdia, see for yourself Cubans, Dominicans, Colombians,Puerto Rican, Panamanians, And Brazilians all have African Descent, and that is a strong gene, so forget everything else that you saw on this page.

Based on the message that the song is trying to bring there really shouldn't be much chemistry. I think the song is hot. The spanish version is even better. Both of these women are great at what they do. Kudos to them both.

I do think Beyonce is great. At the same time, i think she does try to surpass and compare herself to other's artist's sexiness. I just saw a pix of her and Shakira where they made Beyonce's skin tone same as Shakira to show she has the same type of beauty. Yes she is lovely but don't try so hard to be latin from being thinner to getting hips etc etc. Black is beautiful too. Anyway it's called being a celebrity. you see an artist rise and you have the intelligence to take some of it. she never danced like jlo and now she's rockin. now she sees this works for shakira and she wants to rock it too. what can you do? now latinas and other rising stars bite off her style and you won't have to be hatin. only thing is...she's movin pretty quick..jay z, jamie foxx movie, more movies, singing with latins...i don't know...how did she go from skinny to body...hmm? no dancin to dancin....believe in yourself and do it world...people age and there's a new generation. she can't play sexy siren forever and one day she'll have to tone down the clothes but for now...she's at the top of her game...so respect.

Let me get this out in the open...Beyonce is NOT hispanic. She has not one hispanic hair on her body. Why is it then that she is on the cover of People en espanol magazine? Why was she included in the 50 most beautiful ppl edition? There is a plethora of beautiful hispanics and to pick Beyonce who is not hispanic is outrageous. She may have recorded an album in spanish, but that does not make her part of the hispanic community. There is no comparison to Shakira. Shakira kicks her ass in singing and dancing.

No disrespect to Shakira fans, but you have to be joking to say she's better in singing. If you would've just stuck to dancing, then I'd say okay, but Shakira's voice does not compare to Beyonce's powerhouse vocals.

Yes it's true some Creoles have Spanish Descent but Beyonce has French Creole Descnet so therefore she's not hispanic, But the Black and Hispanic community is close that's why they did this song. I'm Dominican and I know I have African descent so why even bother tracing roots of Beyonce. I love Beyonce, Shakira you can dance THAT'S IT. lol.

Please, i think that Shakira is a beautiful woman, but Beyonce is the "must". Do you see the videos off Beyonce Experience, in Europe and USA? She dance the bellydance with more sensuality than Shakira. With her body and flexibility off movememnts off the body, she winn and is the new queen off bellydance. You are funny. I am creole and I can tell you for a fact that Creoles are French, African, Spaniard, Native American. Beyonce also has very light skin and I do not think she is trying to look or act Latina. I think Beyonce admires the culture as many other people do and she was trying to show her appreciation for the musical influence Shakira has given to all of us.
