alberto%20Gonzalez.jpgAttorney General Alberto Gonzales may be the most repentant Latino in the US right now but he’s not sorry enough to resign after being called out by the media and political critics for firing eight U.S. attorneys. The firings are accused of having more to do with political positions than job performance.

Gonzales said Tuesday that “mistakes were made,” but turned the focus on himself in the Wednesday interview.
“I think I did make some mistakes and we’re going to take steps to ensure that that doesn’t happen again,” he said.

When asked if he would resign, Gonzales said that he would leave that decision to President Bush and that he was going to focus on his job, like enforcing the Patriot Act and spying on civilians no doubt.

i just saw a documentary on Katrina called “From the big easy to the big empty”.
Bush is stealing from us all by taking political money from worthless companies who often act criminally on his behalf. In Katrina many died due to the negligence of a Bush backing private contractor in charge of evacuation plans for New Orleans. Gonzales was given the job due to his support of Bush torturing people who are often guilty of nothing. Gonzales fired good workers because they would not attack innocent politians for Bush. Look for yourself. Gonzales and Bush should both be in prison, not fighting to keep their jobs.
