Christian of RBD thanks his fans for support

Yesterday Mala gave props to RBD's Christian Chavez for coming out of the closet, in spite of the backlash that this announcement could possibly generate. Now Christian is giving props of this own -- to his fans. At a concert in Texas, Christian thanked them for supporting him no matter what:

“I love you with all of my heart. You've made my dreams come true and made me the happiest person in the world. Orientation doesn't matter, what matters is love. Thank you so much," said the artist as the audience applauded. At that moment the rest of the members of the group came out onto the stage to hug the singer.

That's good, as I was actually wondering if the rest of them were like "oh, crap" when this news leaked.

I really still cannot stand RBD, but yes, it's great that he came forward instead of just avoiding the question like so many other stars (ajemRickycoughcoughMartin) do. I wonder if this will push any of the countless other gay stars in Mexico (men and women) out of the closet?

Who gives a flying hoot who is gay or not anymore - I hate it that everyone obsesses over that crap. As for the "danger" to coming out that is overblown b.s. - if anything this will push RBD to another 5 minutes of fame. Now they are relevant to a whole new audience. Gay or not they blow - they are a musical abortion.
