Latinos Win Fashion Awards for Oscar Night

PenelopeOscar.jpgWhile Penelope Cruz didn't win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Volver, she certainly deserved an Oscar for how beautiful she looked. In fact, fashion wise, the Hispanics and Latinos stole the show.

Penelope wore a light light pink (fashionistas are calling the color blush) Versace gown that was fitted on top and flowed into fluffy full skirt. I loved the color on Penelope and thought she looked very elegant with her hair pulled back but I'm still unsure about the bottom part. Speaking of the bottom part of the dress did you see when Ellen was "joke" vacuuming she snagged Penelope's dress?

gaelosacr.jpgMy favorite male eye candy of the Oscar evening was (not surprisingly) Gael Garcia Bernal who presented the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.Jlomarcoscar.jpgThe hot couple (Latino or otherwise) of Oscar night was Jennifer Lopez and marido Marc Anthony. Jenny from the block looked stunning in a metallic jeweled number by Marchesa that made her look like a Greek diosa. And was it just me but didn't it look like Marc Anthony gained some weight? Seriously, he looked less skeletal.Cameron-Diaz%201.jpgI've read mixed reviews on Cameron Diaz's white Valentino dress. Some suggested she's too slight for such a structured number but I personally thought it was a bold move and liked it. I really liked her brown hair color too.
