In November of last year I was able to watch the 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards live and in person in Madison Square Garden. Last night’s 49th Annual Grammy Awards in the Los Angeles Convention Center, was watched in the comfort of my bedroom. Shakira, who swept the Latin Grammy awards, didn’t win last night (in the category of best pop collaboration) but she performed Hips Don’t Lie(yes, that song again) looking golden, literally and figuratively.
Christina Aguilera‘s Ain’t no other man won Best Female Pop Song.
Many of the Grammy winners in Latin music last night were also winners of Latin Grammy Awards in November of last year.
