Earlier this year we told you how Laura Bozzo, Peru’s answer to Jerry Springer,
had sprung back from her firing from Telemundo by scoring a show on Spain’s Telecinco network. The show was set to launch this weekend, but alas, some bad — and mysterious — novedades:
Telecinco had everything in place to start airing its new show with polemic Peruvian host Laura Bozzo. However, it seems that at the last minute things have gone wrong and the network has decided to cancel the program after taping the pilot episode.
It seems that this is not just a simple delay, because according to Fórmulatv, the entire crew of the show has been fired. The show was supposed to air on Saturday afternoons…
But Spanish web site FormulaTV is now reporting that there have been some more mysterious changes. Telecinco is apparently changing its mind. The crew has been rehired and it will air the show, and Laura will appear on another show to talk about the new show. Confused yet?
FormulaTV also says that Telecinco is guarding Laura closely and making sure she doesn’t open her trap:
“Telecinco has decided to protect her image and limit the interviews she is allowed to give so that Laura be able to work on the shows that she will be taping, which are 13 in total,” said sources close to Bozzo.
Pobre Laurita. She gets arrested, fired, hired, moves to Europe, fired again and re-hired. Her life is more dramatic than that of her guests.

Hello, to everyone. I know Laura is the best show. I’m a Jerry Springer fan since day one and as a spanish man, I think is wonderful to have the same as Jerry Springer in Spanish even if is a woman with the only different that Laura and Telemundo help the poor or unfortunetly. I thinks is azone and teach people how to respect and value everyone as one, no matter what you are poor, prostitute, gays, abuse (woman and man), etc. You go Laura, now and forever.
