Not to be outdone by his Cuban ex Niurka Marcos, Bobby Larios will be posing naked as the day he was born , save some body paint, for a calendar.
…entre sus planes a corto plazo se encuentra su debut en los calendarios de la mano de Cherry una veterana en el bodypainting, donde el actor aparecerá tal cual vino al mundo.
And how exactly does Bobby wanna pose? Like an Aztec, complete with an eagle.
God help Mexico and all of us.

Even after Brazilian modeling agencies signed a policy which restricts anorexic models from entering the profession, yet another woman has lost her life to the disease. Maiara Galvao Vieira, a 14 year-old aspiring model is the fifth Brazilian woman to die of complications related to anorexia in 3 months:
Galvao Vieira, who was 1.70 meters tall [about 5' 7"] and weighed about 38 kilograms [about 84 lbs.] was in the Miguel Couto hospital for over a month, after having been in three other public hospitals and no one being able to diagnose the disease.
And no, it wasn’t in some small town in Brazil, it was Rio de Janeiro. According to 20 Minutos, the victim’s parents say that she was so weak that she was unable to climb the stairs to her school.
Meanwhile, UK experts charge pro-anorexia websites with “literally killing people”.

I’ve written before about how a relatively little-known pizza chain called Pizza Patrón is doing an amazing job catering to Spanish-speaking customers, mainly recent immigrants from Mexico, by tailoring their marketing — and their menu — to the tastes of that community. In another smart and surprising move, the chain has announced that they will be accepting Mexican pesos at their stores:
Starting Monday, patrons of the Dallas-based Pizza Patrón chain, which caters heavily to Latinos, will be able to purchase American pizzas with Mexican pesos.Restaurant experts and economists said they knew of no other food chain with locations so far from the Mexican border offering such a service.
“We’re trying to reach out to our core customer,” Antonio Swad, president of Pizza Patrón Inc., said Friday.
“We know they come back [from Mexico] and have pesos left over. We want to be a convenient place for them to spend their pesos.”

I’m sure that Toys ‘R’ Us and their affiliate Babies ‘R’ Us meant well when they set up their “First Baby of the Year” contest that promised $25,000 in prizes to the first baby born in 2007. What the toy store giant failed to recognize was the fact that in the U.S., chances were that the first baby of the year would be born to immigrant parents and that those parents may be undocumented. When indeed the first U.S. baby of 2007 ended up being little Yuki Lin, child of an undocumented mother, Toys ‘R’ Us was going to take away the prize from Yuki and hand it over to the second baby born in the U.S., Jayden Swain. Since getting heat for its decision, Toys ‘R’ Us has decided on some middle ground, giving the prize to the first three babies born in the New Year, including little Yuki.
