Nominees for 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards to be presented in January were just announced out of Hollywood. Hispanic and Latino flavor are definately presente looking at the list of nominees, presented in part by the lovely Rosario Dawson. Up for best foreign film are Volver and Apocalypto (guess who I want to win). Penelope Cruz got a nod in the best actress in a drama category for her work in Volver.

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu is nominated for best director for Babel(which I haven’t seen yet but now I will have to).

My favorite new television show Ugly Betty and America Ferrera are also nominated.

Looks like the Golden Globes could be golden for Latinos and Hispanics when they are aired on Monday, January 15th. We’ll be watching.
