Paulina audited, embargoed by Mexican tax authorities

Paulina%20Rubio.jpg Damn, looks like Paulina Rubio is following in the footsteps of Juan Gabriel and Paquita la del Barrio in having a bad relationship with Hacienda (Mexico's version of the IRS). According to Spain's 20 Minutos, as Pau is in the midst of preparing her wedding to her Spanish bf Colate, Mexican tax authorities have stepped in and embargoed all of her belongings. Sound serious? It is. She could go to jail:

A Mexican court ordered an embargo on all property of the singer, who owes more than half a million dollars in taxes in her country.

The Mexican tax service has executed the embargo of her bank account and homes. One of the consequences of this action is taht Paulina might also have to face prison time if she doesn't pay. She will be judged for tax evasion.

Isn't half a million bucks just a drop in the bucket for Pau Pau? I'm sure was planning on pissing away twice that on her hoity-toity wedding.
