schwarzenegger.jpgIn case you didn’t know tomorrow is election day and one of the key races happening in the U.S. is the California Governor’s election. According to a study released today by Garcia Research Associates, Inc. most Cali Latinos aren’t happy with current Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger , but most also don’t put much faith in a win by his main contender Phil Angelides.

Four days before the election, 64% of the Latino respondents, including citizens and non-citizens, disapprove of the job Schwarzenegger is doing as Governor. On the issue of who Latinos think will win the governor’s race, Angelides and Schwarzenegger are nearly tied with 37% and 34% respectively, with 29% unwilling or unable to guess the outcome.

Does that mean that Cali Latinos will have to put up with being called hot-blooded and unwilling to assimilate?

In my neck of the woods it’s an “anyone but Arnold” philosophy which reigns supreme. After so many years it’s still hard to believe that this man “governs” our state.
