Tonight is Ugly Betty night on ABC and if the numbers from last week’s premiere of the show, produced by Salma Hayek, were any indication, millions will be tuning in. 16.3 million people tuned to ABC to watch America Ferrera play Betty Suarez. I know I’ll be watching.

Why do I care if you’ll be watching? Do you have anything to say about Ugly Betty? This is single-handedly the most important television show staring, and produced by, Latinos. And you tell me you’re going to watch it… Do you have any insight whatsoever? Tell me the Nielsen rating. How is this show ranking among the white euro-centric trash? Is it beating “The (WHITE) Class”? Please say yes.
