Marc Anthony receives song from beyond the grave

marc_anthony.jpgI love the way Marc Anthony and JLo make my job so much easier. Mondays are always tough, but Marc and JLo help me along by doing and saying weird stuff on a consistent enough basis, making posting great gossip to VL that much easier. Case in point: JLo’s hubby believes that Spanish music legend Rocío Durcal is communicating with him from beyond the grave, and ordering him to listen to a song she wrote for JLo, according to Spain’s 20 Minutos:

Marc Anthony claims that Rocío Dúrcal appeared to him in dreams and asked him to listen to a song that she had written for his wife, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.

Anthony claims that the strange dream took place two weeks after the singer’s death. According to the composer (Anthony), he got out of bed and recorded his own voice on an answering machine humming the song that Dúrcal sent him, including the title, “Qué hiciste”.

Jennifer Lopez thought for months about what she could do with the song, and finally decided to include it on her last Spanish album, “Cómo ama una mujer”.

Sounds like Marc Anthony is competing for the honor of the Latino world’s Tom Cruise.

Hope you’ve not serious about a career in humor. . .

Marc Anthony is a real artist and sometimes, real artists get inspired – as in creativity, as in composing. Ever heard of dreams, or REM sleep? (Oh, never mind.)

If you MUST diss, stick to Tom Cruise, who doesn’t write songs or books, or paint pictures. There’s no comparison at all between these two men.

If you hate this couple so much, why do you give them free publicity? Seems to me the brainless one is the one who writes in this case. I on the other hand am glad that you do give them free publicity becaues they deserve it and are a lovely couple. Thanks for allowing me to respond too.

Humor is hard… But yeah, you ladies are on the money. Skeletor is an artist. He’s bound to hear voices…
