Maybelline Makeup Goes Latino

DannaGarcia.jpgI’ll admit the only Maybelline product I use is their Great Lash Mascara, which is hands down the best mascara on the market, but it seems that the New York based makeup company is trying to reach out to the Latinas out there by bringing on board telenovela actress Danna Garcia. Danna, who was featured in such novelas as Pasion de Gavilanes and Corazon Partido, follows in the footsteps of Brazilian belleza Adriana Lima, who also has represented for Maybelline. Danna will appear in tv and print ads in Latino markets.

Danna’s personal style exudes the type of confidence and beauty that is synonymous with the Maybelline New York brand,” says Cheryl Vitali, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Maybelline New York-Garnier. “We are delighted to have a talented and intriguing spokesperson that has such a strong relationship with the Hispanic community.

Sabes, Maybelline is my favorite make-up followed by Neutrogena. And I was/kinda still am all over the Maybelline New York line, cause of Adriana Lima. Yup. Please anyone don’t revoke my feminist card because of this, si? ;-)

And I know, I know…I don’t wear make-up everyday. I love mascara especially Maybelline’s Great Lash, nude lipstick (nude, yes I still like it) and a tinge of blush. That’s it, it sounds like a lot but it actually appears like I have mascara only. It works for me and in my mind it is my best face forward.

wow…. i do not understand why maybelline would pick some one who has so many plastic surgeries… i guess. this time you are not born with it, neither is maybelline.. but instead the plastic surgeon…. sad! plus she is just a bad soap opera actress… and we are used to real superstars for this brand… hmmmm…
