"Offensive" ad pulled by Dems

Following up on Mala's post yesterday about the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's ad which has offended many in the Latino community, it seems (as Mala points out in the comments section) that the negative press has worked, as the ad mysteriously disappeared from thr DDCC's site last night, and apparently mum's the word:
Democrats dropped an ad that Hispanics had criticized as unfairly depicting illegal immigrants as terrorists.I hope heads are rolling over there, and that Democrats learn something from this. By attempting to tap into the fear of conservatives to try to win them over to "our side", all they are doing is alienating those who they depend on for votes. The ad had disappeared from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's Web site Thursday. A link that had led to the advertisement now leads to a different ad.
No announcement was made about what happened to the ad. A DSCC spokesman did not return phone calls and an e-mail message seeking comment.
