Emmy Awards : Y Donde Estan los Latinos?
The nominations are out for the the 58th Primetime Emmy Awards, scheduled to air live on Sunday, August 27 and the Latinos are........nowhere to be found. Not even desperate housewife Eva Longoria grabbed a nomination. Other Latinos notably absent from the nomination list include George López, Benjamín Bratt,and Freddie Prinze Jr. You can read the entire list of Emmy Nominees at the official Emmy Website.

Freddie Prinze Jr. should have been absent from the emmy list. I'm a proud Puerto Rican and I was excited to hear about a show featuring a Puerto Rican family, but in my opinion, his show was HORRIBLE. I'm glad it's going off the air.

Well yeah actually I agree. I'm not someone who feels like Latinos should be nominated for being Latinos but I think the lack of Latino pressence in the nominations is a reflection of the bigger preoblem of latinos repping well on the tv.
