La Señora León: No longer with us

La Señora León ya no está contigo. On the heels of news that her arch rival Peruvian Laura Bozzo (better known as Laura en América) was having her show cancelled, cae otra. La Tesorito herself — who many thought would be the one to trump Laura Bozzo and who others thought might be the reason for Bozzos’s sudden split with Telemundo — has fallen victim to the same cruel machetazo as la Bozzo: ratings. Apparently Tesorito’s show just wasn’t cutting it:
This Friday it was announced that tapings for the Señora León show would end, a show led by Mexican actress Laura León for Peru’s Canal 2 and broadcast in the U.S. by Telemundo. The apparent reason for the network not renewing the show was that it had not reached the ratings levels that were expected.
According to People in Español, Laura León ain’t sweatin’ it:
Por su parte, León tomo con aparente serenidad las noticias: “Estoy tranquila, pues así son las cosas, tesorito. Yo me voy a quedar [en Perú], vamos a ver qué pasa”.
The fact that the show that this show was modeled after — Laura en América — was cancelled almost immediately after the launch of the carbon copy Señora León show must have clued la Tesorito in to what was to come.
With no Lauras on daytime TV whatever will we do?

La “senora” Leon es solamente una vulgar cabaretera. Habla come que si tiene algo en la nariz y canta como una chiva. Ojala que Telemundo reaccione pronto porque esta “senora” no tiene ni la minima idea de lo que quiere decir “clase”. Laura Bozzo siquiera tiene clase y es doctora en leyes, pero esta cabaretera que hace?? A quien se le ocurrio pone a esta “senora” que tiene por lo menos unos 65 abos y viste como una vulgar cabaretera. A lo mejor ese vestuario se le veia bien cuando tenia unos 20 anos. Que pasa con Telemundo??? Que consejos le puede dar al publico una cabaretera??

Ay Ay Ay Yo quiero bad acting boring low-life Mexican taquitos {personalities} in the Morning, Mid-day, Afternoon, Evening, Prime time AND later at night after the local newscast! That’s why I “watch” {trying not to vomit} TELOMETO Oops! i meant TELOMANDO all day long!! Mexico! Mexico! Mexico! Mexico!… Because there is NO OTHER Spanish-speaking country in the world that can be properly represented in this piece of shit-sorry-ass intent of a “Hispanic” network. All these Mexicans are just a bunch of talent-less assholes and FUGLY bitches with poorly speak skills and egos higher than the sky. Hey Bush?!, Get the “Migra” in there! you’ll have a field day with how many wet backs your agents can pick up, better than the Walmart raid!

la opinion que yo tengo de la senora de leon …laura bozo es la numero uno como bozo ninguna. y como la senora de leon hay un monton con ideas estupidas.cuando lasenora de leon iba ya laura bozo avia ido y avia regresado. la senora de leon no leyega ni ala .rodiya a laura bozo..pues asi que la senora de leon pare de sonar……esa es mi opinion…

Yo,pienso que la Senora Leon, pues se ve muy bien.que es un modelo, i una inspiracion para mi que si ella se ve tan bien, pues qisas, yo no pueda llegar a verme tan bien como ella , pero voy a tratar de acer egercicio, i pues no estoy tan mal.gracias a la inspiracion de La Senora Leon.Pero bueno lo que yo queria aberiguar era un show que ya nomas vi lo ultimo i no supe de que se trataba. donde la mujer le estaban injectando en el cuello i el cuerpo, i ella decia que no le dolia nada. qisiera saber de que se trataba eso? Agien me puede decir?

i truely am a huge fan of laura leon and i belive she can do alot better that show sr. laura was just makeing her look worse. I strongly belive she is an inspiration to all older ladies and maybe even the young ones who say she is ugly and cant sing. There are alot of haters out there and to be at her age damn she is a foxx. That woman is sexy and can act way better than all those new acctreses. Damn she is fine and im glad i saw her in sr. leon program just to know she is still looking her best. I was looking foward to seeing her comback. I just wish her the best and hope to see her soon in a new novel.

i love that show sra.leon she is a loving person she cared about not only herself but everyone, why did yall take her off she gave advice to alot of persons young and older people i dont see why alot of ladies dont like her its cause shes just herself and alot of men like her and the ladies are jelous, well hopefully she gets strong and makes it to the top again and makes another show
