Erik Estrada is a Shining Star

According to the blog Defamer Erik Estrada is getting a star along the Hollywood Blvd. Walk of Fame. The NYC native son of el Barrio is best known for his role as officer Frank Poncherello aka Ponch in CHiPs but us Latinos also know him from playing Johnny in the novela Dos Mujeres, Un Camino (you know you are singing the theme song in your head in your best Laura Leon voice- don’t front). Maybe with his sparkly star on the Walk of Fame he can stop trying to sell me land in Lehigh Acres and other places en medio del carajo.

LOL! As soon as I saw the pic I thought about those properties he sells out in the wilderness. We should buy one and build the VL compound.

I thought that was a joke. That piece of dirt (the chisme, not the property) never reached me. So is he getting the star for selling property or for acting? I’m sure he does the real estate gig much better. He has to. Almost impossible not to.

Gossiper – he is getting the star for his illustrious acting of course. He should probably just get something for having to work with Laura Leon.
Jen – I always wondered about those properties and the thought that keeps running through my head is having a bunch of Latinos in the middle of el carajo creating their own barrios. ja ja.
