If Gael Garcia Bernal is going to be in Buenos Aires in July then that’s where I wanna be too. People in Espanol is reporting that the Mexican actor will be returning to Argentina, where he filmed The Motorcycle Diaries, to film a movie titled El pasado, based on a novel by Alan Pauls and directed by Héctor Barbenco. It hasn’t been decided what lucky mujer will play opposite Gael in this film. According to producer Óscar Kramer:
Todas quieren actuar con Gael, es un imán. Pero es un papel muy complejo y hay que saber elegir bien.
Of course everyone wants to play opposite Gael. He’s talented and sexy. I wonder if there’s any chance they would consider a Nuyorican with no acting experience?
