Maybe they saw that VL’s very own Jennifer was calling them out on their silence around the immigration issue. Whatever the reason, a bunch of Latino celebs are finally speaking out. Bobby Pulido, Paulina Rubio, Jose Manuel Figueroa, Maria Sorte, and Daddy Yankee in separate interviews on Univision’s chisme show El Gordo y la Flaca all said something in favor of immigrants (surprise surprise). La chica dorada aka Paulina Rubio gave props to
…the work force and labor the Latino community represents in the US.
and said that:
What we need is a balanced law in both countries.
Reggaeton rey Daddy Yankee said:
I support the US Latino marches and mobilizations. I support them because they are the motor of the US economy.
Daddy Yankee likened his hard childhood to why he sympathized with those protesting why he liked to be seen with those fighting for their dignity and rights. Not that he has actually been seen at any of the rallies or marches that have gone recently. Maybe we’ll be seeing him on May 1st?

Vivirlatino debe contribuir con sus puntos de vista sobre lo que sucede entre la comunidad hispana de EEUU.
Si su voz logra algo, por mínimo que sea, habrá valido la pena.
Saludos.
