Eva Longoria used to hunt, and I’m not talking underage gardeners like her Desperate Houswives character Gabriela Solis. As a child, Eva’s papi used to take her hunting for deer, quail, snakes, pigs and bunnies, the first kill she ever made. Eva said :
I remember the first thing I killed was a little bunny. I cried for days and days. think I was eight at the time.

Believing in Rican Independence via Independent Film

I Believe in America is an independent film produced for less than $700,000 that the Puerto Rican Film Commission wouldn’t allow to be filmed on la isla del encanto. Who’s afraid of an indie film? Apparently many people especially when that film deals with the independence of Puerto Rico and those that struggle for it like the Macheteros. Writer/Director Michael J. Narvaez adapted his Off-Broadway play, A Doctor’s Call into the film, based on his own family history, which follows three generations of a Puerto Rican family who, unknown to one another, are all involved in the pro-independence Macheteros. Narvaez blames the current political climate for the roadblocks he’s encountered in producing the film that is still without a distributor.
“What you find when you do the research is that as far as families, Puerto Rican families, you‘re afraid to say you‘re for independence,” he said. “You were afraid before 9/11. After 9/11, now you‘re really spooked.”

Nope, it’s not the porn movie you’ve been dreaming of. JLo actually is going to do Dallas — the TV show – on the big screen. And she’s gonna play Sue Ellen!
If the latest story to be churned out of the rumour mill is correct, the Latino diva is set to play Sue Ellen Ewing in the big-screen version of Dallas.
A US mag reckons director Robert Luketic is finalising his key cast members with Jen set to join John Travolta, Owen Wilson and Shirley MacLaine.
I totally see JLo more as Pam. And wait, that cast is just…weird. I mean Dallas was pure drama, and that ensemble says comedy (if anything) to me.
Predictable: Travolta will be J.R. Ick. Not so predictable: Owen Wilson is Bobby.
I wonder who will play Miss Ellie and Jock? Or Cliff?
Dude, who cares…this is going to totally suck.
