oscar_me_salma_gustavo.jpg Latinos all over the world got teary eyed watching Gustavo Santaolalla (seen celebrating here with la bella Mexicana, Salma Hayek) get an Oscar for Best Original Score. Not only is he one of ours representing proud in an industry where often only a few token talents are allowed, he proudly proclaimed who he was on stage in his acceptance speech and made all Latinos feel like his Oscar was our Oscar. Felicidades Gustavo! I don’t think I’ve ever been more in love with an Argentino.

20.anthony.lopez.jpg Latinos were some of the best dressed last night, coming through with hot Hollywood glamour. Everyone was green with envy looking at presenter Jennifer Lopez. And fijate that Marc Anthony can clean up pretty nicely too. He still needs to eat more pernil or something. He’s just way too flaco.

Jessica%20Alba.jpg Another Latina presenter, Jessica Alba, was worth her weight in gold wearing a golden Versace gown.

Let them say waht they will about Latinos, pero we know how to get dressed for a party.

For the minority group politic ideologues, it was the Asian Americans who won big at the Oscars, with Ang Lee being the first non-white to win Best Director.

He Represnts his whole entire huge race, I’m sure all Asians are crying from joy-LOL!

I didn’t realize that Ang Lee was the first POC to win best director. Right on!
