TheMoonAndTheSon.jpg 9:33- Sabes que hace falta on Sandra Bullock , as she presents Best Art Direction? Lipstick. She looks all washed out. You know what Keanu Reeves needs? To be in a good movie. Best Art Direction goes to Memoirs of a Geisha.

9:36 – Samuel L. Jackson is presenting a montage about a montage of films that challenge tradional thought.

9:40 – Sid Ganis, President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is giving the traditional long boring speech. At least he gave a shout out to New Orleans and introduced Salma Hayek, who looks bella in a teal satin dress and long wavey hair. She is introducing Itzhac Perlman who is playing a selection of songs nominated in the catagory of Best Original Score. We have two Latinos nominated in this catagory (finally!!!). And the winner is, Gustavo Santalolla, un Argentino for the score of Brokeback Mountain. He dedicated the award to us mi gente!! Los Latinos!!!

I totally teared up on the Santoalalla speech. There’s an argentino who doesn’t embraces being latino.

Oops, I made a typo and can’t edit my comment: what I meant was “there’s an argentino who doesn’t mind being latino/embraces being latino”.
