That’s what a new survey is saying.
Seventy percent of Californians who have registered to vote since 1990 are Latino, providing a growing benefit to Democrats and posing a threat to Republicans, according to a new voting report.
The Field Poll on election trends also said that there is partisan split between coastal and inland counties that favors Democrats but is slowly shifting in favor of the GOP as the more Republican inland population grows.
And the rhetoric on Latinos being “natural Republicans” continues:
Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia, R-Cathedral City, said the growing political activity of the Latino community is just a reflection of its increasing numbers, and she predicted many of them will be recruited in the GOP as more Republican Latinos and Latinas are elected.
“You have candidates like me that speak both languages, who know the community, work in the community and do everything they can to include everybody.”
Benoit argued that Latinos, with their strong family values, hardworking habits and independence have a natural home in the Republican Party that extols these virtues.

So wait does that democrats are for lazy, amoral Latinos? Nice. No need to worry about pushing Latinos into that model minority stereotype. White people like us more that way!!!
