To the U.S. Chavez=Hitler

chavez.jpg I wasn’t aware that Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez was committing genocide but don’t tell that to United States Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld who said at an event last night that Chavez:

…fue elegida legalmente, como Adolf Hitler fue elegido legalmente, y luego consolidó el poder y ahora está, obviamente, trabajando de cerca con Fidel Castro y el señor Morales y otros”.

Maybe Rummy just got tired of people comparing his boss, U.S. President George W. Bush to the fascist dictator responsible for the deaths of millions of Jews among others and is playing a game of “I know you are but what am I?”

found this in google blogsearch. I didn’t know Hugo’s main goal was to kill millions of people and take over the world. this was one of the most outrageous comments ive heard from anyone in office.

I wouldn’t say he’s Hitler, but he’s not a nice guy. Maybe Fidel is a better comparison.
