Mexican crooner has a date on March 1st and it ain’t with his girlfriend Aracely Arambula. He has a court date in the municipal court of Aspen, Colorado facing charges of assault. Yesterday Telemundo’s Cotorreando reported that Luismi attacked someone who was looking at his girlfriend’s behind. Today the same show and Univision have clarified and changed the story saying that Luis Miguel was arrested on January 3 outside the fancy St. Regis hotel for a fight that took place inside the restaurant Olives.

Two people , including a bar worker at the restaurant identified as Jason Randall Moan accuse the singer and his bodyguard of attacking them physically after William Hayward Hardy asked Luis Miguel to sing. When Luis Miguel said he would for $1,000 dollars Hardy said he wouldn’t even pay 50 cents. This pissed the singer off. Luis Miguel, apparently unaware that most gringos don’t know who he is from Alejandro Fernandez or any other singer asked, “Don’t you know who I am?” Luis Miguel allegedly asked. Apparently no one cared because Luis Miguel and his entourage, including his girlfriend, novelera and wannabe singer Aracely were subsequently kicked out of the St. Regis , according to Cotorreando today.

The moral of the story is never piss a Latino off, especially by bruising his ego and not knowing exactly who he is. Ay Luismi! This was not so suave.
