Brazil.jpg A Swiss private foundation, New 7 Wonders Foundation, has picked 21 international historic locations to be voted on to possibly be named the New 7 Wonders of the World. People can phone in their votes and submit them via internet. Some of the Latin American contenders are the Mayan ruins at Chichén Itzá in Mexico, the Cristo del Corcovado en Río de Janeiro, Brasil and the statues on Easter Island in Chile.

Juan.gif I peeped this on Univision’s Primer Impacto, yesterday afternoon. It seems that Juan Gabriel is maintaining his sense of humor as he recuperates from the infamous fall he took in November of last year. Juan Gabriel’s website now features a Flash Player version of the story of his fall and his subsequent recuperation, designed by Alberto Aguilera. It’s not to be missed by fans of Juan Gabriel. See it at JuanGabriel.com
