In Chile Candidates Blog for Your Vote

blogging.jpg Television debates and campaign ads are old school in Chile where four presidential candidates are using blogs as a medium to respond to questions from citizens. The independent Digital Country Foundation, a Chilean agency committed to educational and technological innovation, is running the blog, fielding questions from Chilean mothers, children and other citizens on issues ranging from education to AIDS prevention.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a similar blog here in the U.S. not just for presidential elections but for local elections as well? I mean if Latin America can do it why can’t we?
